Itay Goren is one of the founders of Buligo and currently serves as its Managing Director. His primary responsibilities include strategic planning, investment analysis, business development and fundraising. Mr. Goren has extensive experience in sourcing, negotiating, structuring, financing and closing private equity real estate transactions, investment programs, funds, and funds of funds. Prior to founding Buligo, Mr. Goren managed a multi-division operation in a leading Israeli investment firm for over 11 years where he raised hundreds of millions of dollars in equity from major institutional investors and high net worth individuals. Mr. Goren is a magna cum laude graduate of Tel Aviv University with a BA in Economics and a Bachelor of Laws, and has a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Mr. Goren also served as a Major in the Israeli Defense Forces for four years.
Samuel Zell serves as Vice President of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Buligo and is based in the firm's Philadelphia office. Mr. Zell joined Buligo in 2016 and is primarily responsible for the acquisition and management of new assets. Mr. Zell has extensive experience in deal sourcing, investment analysis, contract negotiations, due diligence, property repositioning, distressed debt acquisitions, complicated loan workouts, portfolio management and asset dispositions. Prior to joining Buligo, Mr. Zell was a senior investment professional at Resource Real Estate, Inc., a global asset management firm and sponsor of several private equity funds, all focused on commercial real estate investments with an emphasis on multifamily. In his most recent role at the firm, Mr. Zell served as Transaction Manager, where he directed all the company's efforts and strategy related to asset sales, fund liquidations and financing of new acquisitions. Throughout his tenure at the firm, Mr. Zell served in other lead capacities on both the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams, where he was involved in over $4.5 billion of real estate transactions. Prior to Resource Real Estate, Mr. Zell began his professional career in 2004 as a Project Manager for Ryan Homes, a publicly traded homebuilding firm. Mr. Zell earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Master's from New York University.

Eyal Slimak  is one of the founders of Buligo and currently serves as a non-executive director.
Mr. Slimak is a real estate entrepreneur with over 25 years in real estate development.
In addition to his role at Buligo, he is the founder of a hospital in Israel for the severely disabled, individuals that are 100% reliant on round-the-clock nursing care, a family business he
has owned for the last 20 years.

 

Ilan Tamir  is one of the founders of Buligo and currently serves as a non-executive director.
In addition to his role at Buligo, Mr. Tamir is a partner in the Rubinstein Senior Housing
franchise which is the leading senior facility franchise in Israel.
Mr. Tamir was one of the early pioneers of the Israeli senior housing industry
and co-founded Rubinstein Senior Housing 20 years ago.

Guy Ben-Dror is the Investor Relations Manager at Buligo. His primary functions include investment analysis, investor relations and fundraising. Mr. Ben-Dror has over 10 years experience in fundraising, both as the representative of the Kibbutz movement in North America and as the leading sales manager at one of the top investment firms in Israel. Mr. Ben-Dror is a director in Arad Group, a public company which is traded on the Israeli stock exchange and a world leader in the field of water metering. Mr. Ben-Dror holds a BA in Law and Economics from Haifa University, a MA in Law and Economics from Erasmus University and is a member of the Israeli Bar Association. Mr. Ben-Dror served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a parachute officer and a commander in the officer course.

Rivka Kompel is the Operations Manager at Buligo. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she moved to Israel in late 2011. As the Operations Manager, Ms. Kompel provides expert investment analysis, financial reporting and back-end operational support to Buligo. Ms. Kompel's diverse professional background includes extensive asset management and investment experience in the multi-family industry in the Midwest. Prior to working in real estate, Ms. Kompel was a consultant at Deloitte & Touche where she developed technology solutions to streamline business processes and improve internal operations. Ms. Kompel obtained her MBA with concentrations in Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Ms. Kompel is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois, Virginia, Kentucky and Georgia, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Kompel is also the founder and CFO of a non-profit emergency medical service in the Chicagoland area.
